‘Largest grant we’ve received’: ACHD receives $18.4M federal grant for Boise road improvements

BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Highway District has been awarded an $18.4 million federal grant to improve a total of five miles of roadway across four locations in Boise.

The U.S. Department of Transportation grant represents the largest award in ACHD’s history. It will fund comprehensive infrastructure improvements, including new pavement, sidewalks, speed bumps and curb ramps compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
