A 19-year-old who went missing on July 20 was found dead in Ada County near Lucky Peak, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
Elise Messerly was last seen on July 20, prompting search operations. Messerly’s phone last pinged near milepost 18 along Idaho Highway 21 on that same day, according to the Boise County Sheriff’s Office.
The possibility of a vehicle crash was considered by Boise County officials and included in the missing person flyer that was issued.
