New West Ada elementary could come to South Meridian

A new West Ada elementary school could be on the horizon for South Meridian.

According to documents filed with the city, the West Ada School District is considering next steps for Pinnacle Elementary, which would be located in Brighton’s Pinnacle subdivision.

Preapplication documents show the potential 60,000-square-foot school, located off Locust Grove Rd. and Lake Hazel Rd. would sit on just over eight and a half acres of land. The documents include a conceptual site plan that lays out the potential school, 132 parking spaces, and play areas for students.
