Nampa Youth Academy trains with Nampa police, bomb squad

NAMPA, Idaho — The Nampa Police and Fire departments joined forces this summer to give high school students hands-on experience in public safety through the city’s Nampa Youth Academy program.

On Monday morning, explosions were heard at the Cadwell Police Range as the Nampa Bomb Squad demonstrated to Nampa high school students participating in the academy how they protect the community.
