Boise’s JCPenney building sold, but shoppers shouldn’t notice

The JCPenney property at Boise Towne Square has been sold. It won’t be something that shoppers will notice, for now.

In 2020, as part of a bankruptcy process, the department store chain sold 160 JCPenney store locations around the country to a trust set up to resell the locations.
