Employee Shoots Attacker in Boise Store; Police Arrest Three Suspects

BOISE, ID – Three suspects, including two 18-year-olds and a juvenile, were arrested Saturday night following an assault and shooting at a Boise business.

According to the Boise Police Department, officers responded to the 6300 block of W. Fairview Ave. shortly after 9:30 p.m. on August 2 for a report of shots fired. While en route, officers were informed that a physical altercation had also occurred and that the suspects had fled in a vehicle before police arrived.

According to police, the incident began when 18-year-old Bailey Geesey entered the business and stole alcoholic beverages. When a store employee confronted her and instructed her to leave and not return, Geesey allegedly punched the employee in the face, initiating a physical fight…
