NAMPA, Idaho — On the first Tuesday of August each year, neighborhoods across the country, including Nampa, Idaho, come together for National Night Out. This event, a partnership between the National Association of Town Watch and local law enforcement, has been celebrated since 1984.
National Night Out is a chance for communities to slow down and enjoy the company of their neighbors. Inga Hadder, COO of NeighborWorks Boise, said, “When you know your neighbors, you have people looking out for you, you have people you can go to if you need help, and there’s also more pride in where you live.”
