NAMPA, Idaho — On the first Tuesday morning of every month, there is a gathering of Idaho heroes at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa. It’s called Kilroy Coffee Klatch. Hundreds of veterans from Idaho come to enjoy coffee, donuts and conversation.
Warhawk Air Museum Executive Director Carson Spear said it is the largest gathering of veterans in the state of Idaho.
“Good people, no drama, no agenda, everybody just loves the patriotism, the community, the camaraderie,” Spear said. “It’s all free for the veterans and veteran support organizations to come out; it’s just a big community and camaraderie event. We have a different compelling speaker each month, so we’re excited to see the crowd today.”…
