Rather than renewing their contracts with the West Valley Humane Society, Canyon County has announced a joint decision with the cities of Nampa and Caldwell to put their animal services contract up for bid.
According to a Wednesday press release, the decision to solicit offers was made in collaboration between city mayors and county commissioners.
