BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Thunderstorms are expected to develop late Wednesday, and some could be strong. These storms may bring heavy rain, hail and wind gusts over 50 mph. There is also a slight chance of flash flooding, especially near recent burn scars.
Showers and storms will continue tonight into Thursday, mainly in the mountains. Temperatures will run five to 10 degrees cooler than normal, staying in the 70s.
