‘Slow down’: ISP reports driver reaching speeds over 100 mph in construction zone

CALDWELL, Idaho — Peak summer driving in Idaho has come and gone – but recklessness remains an issue, especially in construction zones, reports Idaho State Police (ISP).

According to a Facebook post from ISP, a local trooper saw a GMC Yukon traveling 100 mph in a 55 mph construction zone. The state police were in Canyon County conducting a “work zone safety emphasis” when they pulled over a 19-year-old driver.
