Idaho 55 blocked for 12 hours after fatal crash Saturday into Payette River

One person died after a vehicle went into the river along Idaho 55 over the weekend.

A 45-year-old Caldwell man was driving north on the highway when his Ford truck “left the roadway on the right shoulder” at about 6 p.m. Saturday, Idaho State Police said in a news release.
