Eastbound Interstate 84 will be closed the next three nights at Exit 57 east of the Boise Airport, forcing drivers to exit and re-enter the freeway at the Gowen Road/Idaho 21 interchange.
The Idaho Transportation Department said in a press release that the closure will allow for bridge repairs to be done where Idaho 21 crosses over the interstate. Crews are paving the shoulders and finishing bridge-joint repairs that began in August.
The eastbound lanes will close at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and reopen the following mornings by 5, according to ITD. Drivers should plan for delays as they leave I-84 at the Gowen Road exit and then cross to the interstate on-ramp, the agency said…
