Nampa man sentenced to life in prison for violent crimes committed against his family

NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — A Nampa man has been sentenced to life in prison for violent crimes he committed against his family.

40-year-old Daniel Colon was sentenced on Wednesday to life in prison, with at least 25 years before he is eligible for parole, following a conviction in July of this year. Colon was found guilty of eleven felony and misdemeanor counts, including attempted murder, aggravated arson, and injury to a child.
