Firebird Raceway gears up for 31st annual Halloween Classic

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Firebird Raceway is preparing for its 31st annual Halloween Classic, an event that has become a staple for racers nationwide and families in the Treasure Valley. Known as more than just a drag racing event, the Halloween Classic is celebrated as one of the largest “trunk ‘er treat” gatherings in the country.

The Halloween Classic, Saturday October 11, will draw over 600 cars from 16 states and Canada in what is one of the largest raceday events on the western half of the US.
