Representatives for the city, Ada County and private developer J. Fisher Companies gathered Thursday for a groundbreaking ceremony in Boise’s west bench that will bring over 200 affordable housing units off of Fairview Avenue.
The building, named the Dorado Station Apartments, will be be located at 1500 N. Eldorado St. and bring 212 income-restricted apartments to the west Boise bench, including 55 one-bedroom, 132 two-bedroom and 25 three-bedroom apartments. Ten of the apartments will be reserved for those earning no more than 80% of the area median income, 180 for those earning no more than 60% and 22 for those earning no more than 50%…
