A vehicle crashed into a locally owned store in downtown Boise on Friday afternoon and caused destruction, forcing its closure for the foreseeable future.
At about 3 p.m., the Boise Police Department was dispatched to Modern Apothecary, located next to the WinCo between Myrtle and Front streets at the corner of 2nd Street. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but it wasn’t reported whether that was the driver of the vehicle, which looked like an SUV.
