New crepe shop saves lunch!

Some students have an hour of lunch every day and are faced with the decision of where to go. They have to think about how much time they have, how much money to spend and what’s going to fuel them for the remainder of the school day. The answer to this issue just opened on October 11th, 2025. Just off Orchard Park Drive, you can find that Eight Turn Crepe is officially up and running.

Their menu offers many different toppings wrapped inside a freshly made crepe, ranging from breakfast/lunch options of eggs, ham, pork and cheese, different vegetable options and more, to dessert crepes containing ice cream and different variations of fruits, berries, and nuts to be wrapped inside. The crepes themselves are made from a rice flour that makes it completely gluten free with just a few toppings that are not. They also have smoothies and Japanese style milkshakes to pick from, along with crepes in the shape of sushi rolls making it way easier to eat.

The business itself is a small shop; the walls are painted with fun drawings and shelves with a couple of crepe themed decorations. The workers are very welcoming and direct you to an iPad at the front desk where you can place your order. Once the order is sent through you can go take a seat at the tables and watch them make it just behind the counter and then bring it out to you once it’s done. The crepes are held in a peelable cardboard wrapper that you tear away as you eat, though you also have the options of forks and chopsticks. The different drink options you can order go perfectly with your crepes making for a great meal…
