BOISE, Idaho — A car crashed into Modern Apothecary near Winco in downtown Boise on Friday at 3:03 p.m., trapping the owner behind the counter and destroying most of the store’s inventory.
The owner, Miranda Adman, 29, was inside when the crash occurred.
“I was inside and I was screaming,” Adman said. “I saw a car barreling toward me, and it felt like it was in slow motion. I moved to the corner of the store, and the car drove straight in. I was trapped behind the counter until the fire department came and removed the counter.”…
