Caldwell man arrested with explosive devices and 23 dogs

A 67-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly crafting explosive devices. In a Friday press release, the Caldwell Police Department described the devices as “extremely volatile and unsafe.”

Police executed a search warrant at Randy Robinson’s residence on the 500 block of East Ithaca Street near North 5th Avenue. The CPD was assisted by the Nampa Police Department and a National Guard explosives specialist.
