Nampa City Council is guaranteed to gain a new member next year due to redistricting. This has left District 1 residents with two newcomers to choose from.
Councilmember Victor Rodriguez, who has held the District 1 seat for eight years, is now running in the District 5 race, opening the door for candidates Kody Daffer and Debbie Skaug.
Municipal elections are designated as nonpartisan, meaning a candidate’s political party will not be listed on the ballot.
