Caldwell police seek public’s help after hit-and-run leaves multiple injured

CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — A hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Ustick and Cleveland Blvd. on Oct. 30 has left several people injured, including three children. The incident occurred at 7:16 p.m., when a black Nissan Versa traveling east on Ustick rear-ended a white Kia Soul that was stopped in traffic. The force of the collision propelled the Kia more than 100 feet forward.

All occupants of the Kia were transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, the male driver and passenger of the Nissan Versa fled the scene on foot, heading west on Ustick. The Caldwell Police Department is treating this as a felony hit-and-run due to the injuries sustained by the Kia’s passengers…
