Two Separate Vehicle vs Person Accidents on the Same Idaho Road

November has been a deadly, dangerous, and tragic month on Idaho roads. There have been multiple fatal and injury accident reports, including three vehicle vs pedestrian accidents that have been reported by police.

In one accident, a young girl was hit and passed away at the hospital. The other two accidents happened on different days, at nearly the same time of day, and on the same street in the same city in Northern Idaho. Both of them also involved elderly people in their 70’s, though neither has been reported as fatal.

Two Separate Vehicle vs Pedestrian Accidents on the Same Idaho Road This Month

The fatal accident involving the young girl happened in Boise on November 11th when a driver and the girl who was walking entered the intersection of Ada and Harrison Street at the same time. The girl was taken to the hospital, where she passed away, and the driver was taken into ICE custody after an investigation showed he had a federal warrant.

The girl is 8-year-old Mora Gerety, and there will be a vigil held for her on Saturday evening.

The other two accidents happened in Orofino, Idaho, on Michigan Ave. The first pedestrian, a 73-year-old female, was hit on November 4th by a 71-year-old female driver a few minutes after 6, but the police report doesn’t say which intersection she was near when crossing the street…
