Horse virus outbreak in other states prompts warning from Idaho state officials

Officials with the Idaho State Department of Agriculture are strongly recommending cancelling upcoming horse events in Idaho and temporarily pausing all equine transports following the outbreak of a neurological disease in other states that has been linked to competition events in Texas and Oklahoma, state officials said Thursday.
