BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Several businesses and nonprofits in Idaho are stepping up to support foster children over the next few weeks. Laura Denner from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare highlighted one initiative, saying, “A group of legislators actually took it on as their mission to help support our aging out foster youth across the state. They set a really big goal of $66,000 to get each of those foster youth a gift card to give them for Christmas this year.”
