Boise Rescue Mission to serve Thanksgiving meals on Tuesday, host Christmas banquets

BOISE, Idaho — Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is hosting its Great Thanksgiving Banquet in Boise from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Food will be served to “hundreds” of people at the Vineyard Boise Christian Fellowship on 4950 N. Bradley Street in Garden City, according to the organization. Boise Rescue Mission will serve “traditional Thanksgiving meals” and take-home boxes for those people. The organization held a similar gathering on Nov. 22 in Nampa.

The organization operates four shelter facilities in Boise and Nampa for unhoused people in the Treasure Valley. It serves over 800 meals daily and provide emergency shelter to nearly 400 people, according to the organization…
