CATCH launches ‘Beat the Cold’ campaign for Treasure Valley’s unhoused population

BOISE, Idaho — As temperatures drop across the Treasure Valley, housing nonprofit CATCH is beginning its “Beat the Cold” campaign to get lifesaving winter supplies to people experiencing homelessness.

The need is urgent. According to CATCH, shelter space remains limited.

CATCH staff say people are now more spread out, making it harder to connect them with warming supplies, food and water. Outreach workers have been visiting an encampment in Kuna formed after people were displaced from city limits…
