During Thanksgiving week 2025, about 85 steelhead will be released into the Boise River on Wednesday, November 26. The Idaho Fish and Game Department will stock the fish at five sites: Glenwood Bridge, Americana Bridge, below the Broadway Avenue Bridge behind Boise State University, West Parkcenter Bridge, and Barber Park. The steelhead are trapped at Hells Canyon Dam on the Snake River and will be divided among these locations.
