BOISE, Idaho – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros swimming & diving program broke four more school records at the NW Collegiate Invite, hosted by Idaho, Saturday at the Idaho Central Aquatics Center.
The Vaqueros opened the finals session strong, earning school record times for the “A” and “B” 200 medley relay squads. The “A” team of sophomore Annaleagh Stahl, freshmen Jaydy Jay, Sarah Bull, and Dia Henderson checked in at 11th with a time of 1:47.90 while the “B” team of freshmen Sasapin Sarawas and Ava Light and sophomores Ida Rudelius and Madiana Lofgren completed the race in 1:50.47 to earn 15th.
Bull carried the momentum into the 100 butterfly, swimming a school record time of 58.22 to finish 20th, while Henderson (58.22), Rudelius (59.20), Lofgren (1:04.17), and Light (1:09.29) finished 22nd, 26th, 36th, and 40threspectively…
