A new planned community could be coming to the far southeastern edge of Boise.
Earlier this month, David Bailey, a developer and engineer with Bailey Engineering, had a pre-application meeting with Ada County’s Planning and Development Services department about plans for a 1,200-acre planned community near Micron. The project, which is in its earliest stages, would be located near the Interstate 84 exit off of Eisenman Road and would be accessed by a planned future extension of Lake Hazel Road. There is no exact construction date or identified funding for the Lake Hazel extension as of the end of 2025.
