A developer’s pitch to ditch townhomes from a project in the Highlands got a thumbs down.
On Tuesday, the Boise City Council voted 4-2 against an appeal from Alscott Real Estate requesting permission to drop the density of a small subdivision near Highlands Elementary School. The firm, run by the Albertson heirs Scott family, asked city council to replace four townhomes on the site at the corner of Bogus Basin Road and Curling Drive with two single-story patio homes instead.
