Idaho man wins $1 million lottery prize with first ticket from Albertsons

Corey Dryden became Idaho’s newest millionaire after winning the last top prize from the Idaho Lottery Scratch game, $1,000,000 Cash. Dryden claimed his winnings in Boise on Monday afternoon. He purchased the winning ticket from the Albertsons Marketplace on Broadway in Boise last Friday night.

“I was getting a few things from the store before the big Boise State game and had a feeling I should buy a ticket,” Dryden explained. “I already had a $50 winning ticket that I cashed in and got another ticket. This is the first ticket I’ve ever purchased at Albertsons. I just had a feeling I needed to get a ticket there when I got our groceries.”

Dryden’s intuition paid off, as he scratched the ticket in his vehicle, scanned it with the Idaho Lottery app, and discovered he had won the million-dollar prize. “I called my wife to tell her I’d won. I was so serious at first, she thought someone had died,” he said…
