City of Nampa aims to improve traffic movement and safety through Franklin Boulevard corridor project

NAMPA — In the next few years, the city of Nampa is going to make it easier and safer for drivers — private and commercial — to make it through the Franklin Boulevard corridor, which is just south of Interstate 84’s milepost 36 in West Nampa.

Citing industry activity and strong concerns with the current state of the traffic conditions around Franklin Boulevard, 3rd Avenue North and Industrial Road, Crystal Craig, director of transportation for the city of Nampa, said she is “excited” to see the city’s realignment project come to fruition.
