First, the “Boise Hole,” now Meridian’s version of something similar. Boise-based developer Ahlquist, in partnership with Pacific Companies, has another rehabilitation project on its hands.
The remaining parcels from the failed Union 93 project in downtown Meridian were awarded to Ahlquist, under the name Gray Owl Holdings, at an Ada County Sheriff’s auction on Thursday. As BoiseDev has reported, the property was previously imagined to be a large, mixed-use project, but now stands partially constructed in the shadows of Meridian City Hall after the property went into foreclosure…
