Bogus Basin has recorded just 26 inches of snow since opening in November, with only one inch in the past week. Despite the lack of fresh powder, skiers and snowboarders remain optimistic as freezing temperatures and a forecast of at least 14 inches of snow in the coming week offer hope.
Susan Saad, Director of Community and Customer Relations, said, “Yeah, we’re really excited about the fact that we’re looking at at least 14 inches of snow, hopefully in the next week or so at Bogus. Right now we have three chair lifts operating our Coach, Dear Point and Morning Star as well as our conveyor lifts and our tubing hill. So continuing to add what we can when we can and looking forward to the next several days of making that even better.”…
