12-day-old found suffocated in ‘filthy’ trailer, parents said death was unexplained: cops

NAMPA, Idaho (WKRC) – A mother and father were arrested after their 12-day-old child was found suffocated to death in their “filthy” trailer, which they tried to blame on unexplained sudden infant death.

Officers arrived at a house at 3:32 a.m. on December 16 after receiving a 911 call reporting the possible death of an infant, according to a release from the Nampa Police Department. First responders arrived and confirmed that the 12-day-old infant was deceased, per local outlet KTVB. They spoke with the child’s father, 31-year-old Brian Allen Lemke, but the infant’s mother was reportedly not in the house upon their arrival and Lemke said she had not been home for days.

Police said their initial investigation determined that the child died somewhere outside of the house and was moved inside. Authorities discovered the infant’s mother, 28-year-old Allysen Raider Armenta, hiding in a camp trailer that was parked in the house’s backyard, per the release.
