More rain and snow on the way

CBS2 Boise — The super wet pattern is going to continue across Western Idaho for much of the work week. An active flow from the northwest will usher in colder temperatures compared to what we have seen in recent weeks. Plus, we’ll see periods of valley rain and mountain snow on again, off again through at least Thursday in the valley, while the mountains will be unsettled through Friday. High pressure will return Saturday and Sunday. The only problem is that usually means areas of low clouds and fog will likely form in the late night and morning hours. Temperatures will be down into the mid 40’s this week.

In the last 48 hours we have seen the following snowfall amounts at our local ski resorts: Tamarack 18”, Brundage 17”, Bogus Basin 8” and Sun Valley has had about 12”. We still…..
