BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A former Boise School District teacher is in court Monday, facing criminal charges of failure to report suspected sexual abuse at Valley View Elementary School.
IdahoEdNews first reported that the case against Marianne Baker is moving to trial on Monday. Baker worked at Valley View Elementary alongside Gavin Snow, the man accused of sexually abusing and photographing special needs students during his time as a paraprofessional at the school. Baker did report Snow to both the school and District, though prosecutors say it was after the legally mandated 24 hours.
