Decades-old Boise Outlets faces demolition as Kenworth continues plans for new facility on site

BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Factory Outlets mall, which has stood south of Boise for nearly three decades, could be demolished soon.

Engineered Structures Inc. (ESI), a construction company, submitted a commercial demolition proposal to the City of Boise in late December for the removal of five buildings and the landscape on the Boise Factory Outlets site at 6850 S Eisenman Rd.

The removal of the buildings follows years of ownership changes since 2015, when the property was originally put up for sale. According to Ada County property records, the parcel of land passed through multiple hands until it was purchased in 2025 by Kenworth Sales Company…
