BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Idahonews.com is continuing to investigate the death of a twelve-day-old infant boy in Nampa last month, asking questions of Nampa Police and Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
Nampa Police were dispatched shortly after 3:30 a.m. on December 16, 2025, to a residence on the 300 block of Lone Star Rd. Emergency services were dispatched, and later confirmed that an infant was dead at the scene.
The father, 31-year-old Brian Allen Lemke, told arriving officers that the baby’s mother was not at home. Detectives discovered evidence that indicated the baby died at a different location and was later moved into the house.
