‘We’re moving!’: After 50 years, Boise car dealership sets its sights on the future

It’s been 50 years since Fairly Reliable Bob’s set up shop on Main St. in Boise. But soon, the used car dealership will have a new home.

According to Fairly Reliable Bob’s General Manager, Butch Petersen, after five years of searching for a new home, Fairly Reliable Bob’s plans to move to Meridian. The company is set to close on a building near the corner of Eagle Rd. and Fairview Ave. in March. The site was previously a Snake River Yamaha.

Petersen said Fairly’s intends to grow with the Treasure Valley, and the move will allow it to expand its service department by four times its current operation…
