On Jan. 11, 2026, at approximately 9:47 p.m., a Kuna Police deputy attempted to stop a silver BMW with fictitious license plates, previously involved in a pursuit with an Ada County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
The driver, identified as 18-year-old Jedderion Howard-Newkirk, refused to pull over, leading to a short pursuit that ended with the vehicle crashing near N. Kay Ave and E. Imlay St. in Kuna.
Howard-Newkirk fled the scene but was quickly located and arrested without incident…
