Correction: Yesterday, in our tax filing story, we mentioned the option of using Direct File. Direct File isn’t available this year for people filing their taxes. The Idaho State Tax Commission instead recommends that folks who used Direct File last year check out the Free File program this year to see if they qualify for the free service.

Snow in the Treasure Valley
A whopping 0.6 inches of snow fell from the sky on Wednesday morning, and with it came a number of slide-offs and accidents.
According to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, Ada County Dispatch saw seven slide-offs and 56 crashes the morning of the snowfall. Of the 56 crashes, 29 were non-injury crashes, 19 were lane-blocking crashes, five were injury crashes, one was a crash into private property, and there were two hit-and-run reports…
