BOISE, Idaho — Idaho Fish and Game will once again restrict public access to part of the Boise River Wildlife Management Area this winter to protect deer and elk and support recovery from the 2024 Valley Fire.
The portion of the WMA west of Highway 21 will be closed to all entry beginning Feb. 1 and will remain closed through April 14, when big game typically migrates out of the area in the spring.
