The Gem County community is mourning following last Tuesday’s small plane crash that claimed the lives of two men.
The victims were identified as longtime Boise CBS2 Chief Meteorologist Roland Steadham, 67, and 26-year-old Dallin Laufenberg of Meridian. The Gem County Coroner’s Office said both men died from traumatic injuries sustained in the crash.
According to preliminary information released by the Gem County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 10:58 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27.
