MERIDIAN, ID — Idaho State Police Forensic Services has renewed its national forensic testing accreditation through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, extending the certification through June 30, 2029, the agency announced.
The renewal confirms the laboratory system meets ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, which set international requirements for quality and technical competence in forensic science laboratories. Accreditation followed an on-site assessment by the A2LA Accreditation Council.
