Idaho death row inmate dies in custody, IDOC says

BOISE, Idaho — A man who was sentenced to Idaho’s death row in 2004 has died in prison custody due to natural causes.

The Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) on Tuesday announced Erick Hall died of natural causes around 10 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, at an area hospital. He was 54 years old.

Hall was serving a death sentence for two first-degree murder convictions. He was sentenced for these crimes over two decades ago. He was convicted for the rapes and murders of two women in Ada County in 2000 and 2003, according to IDOC’s website…
