BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — After a 12-day journey around Boise, a stolen ring is finally headed back to its owner.
The ring was among more than $4,000 worth of property taken in a late-night vehicle burglary. With no obvious leads and no clear suspect, the case initially appeared difficult to solve.
Detectives followed up on details from the burglary, tracked down nearby surveillance cameras, identified a suspect and coordinated a search that led to the recovery of the stolen items…
