NAMPA, Idaho — A Nampa Police officer narrowly avoided injury late Tuesday night after a suspected drunk driver crashed into a patrol vehicle along Interstate 84.
According to the Nampa Police Department, the officer was investigating an earlier crash on I-84 in Nampa when their marked patrol vehicle was struck by another driver. The officer was outside of the vehicle at the time of the collision and was far enough away to avoid being hit. Police say the officer was not injured.
