BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A Boise man will spend decades in prison after pleading guilty to a fatal stabbing that investigators said happened inside a home shared by the suspect and the victim.
Scott Edward Stevens Jr., 37, was sentenced Thursday morning by District Judge Jason D. Scott to 38 years fixed and up to life in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in connection with a stabbing on Oct. 4, 2024.
When Boise police officers arrived at the scene, they found Stevens covered in blood and holding a bloody knife. Investigators said Stevens inflicted multiple stab wounds to the victim’s body and neck, and the victim died from those injuries…
